Elisha Agee, PsyD
Dr. Agee is a forensic clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry & Neurobehavioral Sciences at the ILPPP, within the UVA School of Medicine. She also serves as the Associate Director of the Forensic Fellowship. As a clinician, she performs forensic evaluations (e.g., competency, sanity, violence risk, sexual offense recidivism risk) for state and federal courts, primarily in Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Some of her work involves assisting immigration proceedings or local social services. She is also a primary clinical supervisor in the ILPPP postdoctoral fellowship programs. Prior to being at ILPPP, Dr. Agee conducted assessments and provided treatment to individuals with major mental illness at psychiatric and state hospitals, as well as at intensive outpatient clinics. Her research interests include first episode psychosis, psychological trauma, violence risk, and law enforcement practices.
