Nicole Shumaker, PhD

Nicole Shumaker, PhD, is currently a forensic psychology postdoctoral fellow and clinical psychology resident at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology from Sam Houston State University and recently completed her predoctoral internship at UMass Chan Medical School/Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital. Dr. Shumaker has provided assessment and intervention services across inpatient, outpatient, and justice-involved settings. She has also received specialized training in forensic psychology and has experience conducting a variety of forensic evaluations.
