Scott Bender, PhD, ABPP-CN

Dr. Bender is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and Associate Professor of Psychiatry & Neurobehavioral Sciences at UVA School of Medicine. He teaches residents and postdoctoral fellows and conducts criminal and civil neuropsychological evaluations for the ILPPP Forensic Clinic and the Neuropsychology Assessment Clinic. His areas of research and clinical expertise include traumatic brain injury, post-concussive syndrome, PTSD, malingering and dissimulation, and criminal and civil competencies.
